Pedro Estrada Martinez

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Pedro Martinez, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, who departed this life on May 22, 2025, at the age of 73.

Pedro was born on May 8, 1952, in San Antonio, Texas, to the late Pedro Martinez Sr. and Feliz Martinez. He spent his life rooted in family, faith, and hard work.

Pedro dedicated over 30 years of service to Bexar County, where he was known for his reliability, commitment, and compassion. Outside of his career, Pedro had a deep love for the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, always happiest with a fishing pole in hand or out in nature.

Above all, Pedro was a family man. He is survived by his beloved wife, Emma Martinez, and was deeply loved by his siblings, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He will be remembered for his gentle heart, strength, sense of humor, and the unconditional love he shared with everyone around him.

Pedro's legacy lives on in the memories he created with those who loved him. He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.

Funeral Services will be held on June 6, 2025, at Castillo Funeral Home
