Pastor Pedro G. Villarreal, born October 19, 1930 in Franklin, Texas, went to be with the Lord April 9, 2022 at the blessed age of 91. Pedro gave his life to the Lord in 1953, at the age of 23. He was a Pastor for many years, blessing many lives, and doing the ministry work in God's name. Pedro also served honorably in the United States Army for 4 years, spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ along the way.

Pedro is reunited in Heaven with his parents Gregorio and Marcelina(Gonzalez) Villarreal and grandson James G. Villarreal. He leaves behind his loving Wife Maximina Villarreal; son Pete Villarreal(Sherry), daughter Ruth V. Frye;  grandchildren Jennifer Nevins, Jonathan V. Frye, Pete Andrew Villarreal,; great-grandchildren Brooklyn Frye, Jordon J. Villarreal, Chloe Nevins, Beau Nevins, and James Villarreal; sisters Stella Gil and Virginia Rodriguez; along with several extended family, friends, and brothers and sisters in Christ.

Visitation will take place at Castillo Funeral Home on Monday, May 2, 2022 from 3:30pm until 8:00pm with a Prayer Service to begin at 6:00pm. Family and friends will meet at 10:00am to depart in procession for a graveside service at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, ETA 11:15am.
