Petra Hernandez, born to Severo and Rumalda in Bastrop Tx
On January 18, 1936 was called into eternal rest on July 2, 2025 at
Age 89. She was known to family as "ama".
Petra was preceded in death by her Husband Raul A Hernandez
Her parents Severo and Rumalda Espinoza, Her siblings Susie Hernandez,
Angelica Castillo, Joe Guerra, Jimmy Espinoza, and her son's Raul  Hernandez Jr,
And Ralph Hernandez.
Petra is survived by her sibling's Lupe Talamantez, Lydia Espinoza, Eddie Espinoza, and Larry Espinoza, Her children Carol Sanchez, Rudoplh Hernandez, Rebecca Mojica, Ray Hernandez, Cathy Soto, Lisa Villareal, Ruben Hernandez, and Mike Hernandez, Along with 23 Grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren.
Petra was known as a hard-working woman who loved to sing, cook, and loved listening to conjunto music. Petra was a treasured lady. She was strong to the very end, though she may be gone, the pages of her story live on in the hearts of many
