Rachel L. Sanchez was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at the blessed age of 71. She was born in San Antonio, TX on October 6, 1949. She is reunited in heaven with beloved parents and her brother. She is loved and will be greatly missed by her partner Robert Parra, her children Ismael Villanueva (Hope), Dorothy Duplessis (Bennie), Celia Villanueva (Randy), Becky Sanchez (Mike), Steve L. Sanchez and 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren. Sibilings Hector Lares, Refugio Trevino and Beatrice Trevino as well as extended family members and friends.

Mom, you always put the family first and never stopped showing us your endless love and support.  We love you so much and are going to miss your beautiful smile!  You fought the good fight, finished the race and kept the faith. We all hurt the day you went to be with our Lord and though that hurt will never leave us, we know you are pain free and living in eternal life as God has promised us.  We will see you again some day and until then, you will forever be in our hearts and our love for you will never end.
