Rafael F. Garza entered eternal rest surrounded by his loved ones on Monday, July 19, 2021 at the age of 78. He was born in Nueva Rosita Coahuila, Mexico to the late Jesus and Aurora Garza on May 9, 1943. Rafael is reunited in Heaven with his parents and his sister Sulema Cantu. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by his wife of 53 years, Juanita R. Garza; her best way of describing him was very caring, giving, selfless and always made sure everyone including her were taken care of; his children Osvaldo Garza (Michelle), Oscar Garza, and Karla Garza. 10 grandchildren, Justine (Chris), Kassandra (Joseph), Ryan (Adriana), Anthony, Oscar, Ozzie (Kimberly), Ariana (Hector), Samantha, Melanie and Adan. 5 great-grandchildren; and his brothers Ricardo, Javier (Esther) and Oscar. He held many titles, but his favorite was being a grandfather or as his grandkids referred to him as their "Popo", his grandchildren and his great grandchildren each share special memories with him, but in every picture with them his smile says it all. He had a love for watching boxing, while drinking his bud light with a shot of tequila to sip on. He had a love for baseball; the LA Dodgers were his favorite team. Scratching his lottery tickets and gambling at the casinos was what he enjoyed the most. He was such a passive and caring man and will be missed so much. He will always be in our hearts, our angel has gained his wings.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, August 8, 2021 from 3:30pm until 7:00pm with a Rosary to begin at 5:30pm. Services to conclude on Sunday evening. Dinner to follow services, details will be given day of.
