Ramona G. Baker's Obituary
Ramona passed away on April 14, 2022, with her daughter, Terri Baker, by her side.
She was preceded in death by her son, Orlando Baker, and siblings, Refugio Martinez, Andrea Casares, Herminia Martinez, Tommie Rodriguez, and Carmen Macias.
She is survived by her children, Larry Baker, Terri Baker, James Baker, Alvin Baker, and Dale Baker. Also, grandkids Erica Ono Smith, James Baker Jr, Samuel Baker, Angela Baker, Candice Baker, Larry Baker Jr., Crystal Baker, Alvin Baker Jr and several great-grandkids.
Ramona had a strong faith in God and Jesus Christ. She prayed her rosary several times a day. Ramona was kind and generous. She comforted and encouraged others by always knowing the right words to say.
Ramona enjoyed family gatherings, especially the holidays Mother's Day, and her birthday. She would get everyone's attention, then, read all her cards out loud.
Ramona was a fighter. She raised six children on her own by working hard all her life. She retired from Morningside Manor Residence.
Her children were the most important people in her life and she loved each one dearly.
Ramona will live in our hearts forever.
