She left Kerrville, and went to Anahuac, Nuevo Leon, Mexico in 1933. And returned to San Antonio, TX. in 1944. While in Anahuac, NL, her father, Cresencio G. Varela inherited about 25 acres in Anahuac. Ramona was raised on the Ranch. Ramona fed the animals, horses, chickens, and cattle. And she rode the horses along with her brothers. These are her fondest memories. She would talk about the ranch in Anahuac all the time. --- When she relocated to San Antonio, after a few years she worked at Finesilver and Foree Manufacturing Co.' She was a seamstress. --- I, (Tio Johnny remembers many years ago when her children were small, we were playing 'Tarzan' in the backyard. I was playing Tarzan. I jumped out of the tree and grabbed the water hose (Pretending the water hose was a Big Snake! ) and I cut the snake (water hose) and Ramona came out of the house and yelled at me (Tio Johnny). Ahhh! Cabron! Vete pa tu casa! Go Home!!!!)---Grandma Loved to be with her Grandkids/ Great Grandkids and Great-Great Grandkids.
