Ramona "Mona" was born on July 16, 1993 to the union of Lorenzo Ramirez and the late Cynthia Pena Ramirez, in San Antonio Tx.

She and her brother were reared in a Catholic home by her mother and attended St. Dominic's Catholic Church. She received her formal education and two years of college in San Antonio as well. Ramona truly cherished her family and friends, welcoming people openly, not only into her home but also into her life. As a devoted mom, she could be found on the sidelines cheering at basketball and football games as well as cheer competitions. Mona was also the proud business owner of "Mona-licious Snacks Winning over customers with her beautiful smile and famous agua frescas Even from the early age of 3 years old, Ramona was an entrepreneur. Yelling 'Corn for Sale at the family food booth on weekends. A passion she continued through her high school years. When Mona wasn't busy with Mona-Licious Snacks you would find her listening to her favorite music: R&B or rap, playing video games and keeping up with her favorite passion her girls

Ramona gained her angel wings on October 17, 2023 surrounded by warmth and love of her family and friends at the age of 30. She leaves behind to mourn her husband, Mark A. Lewis, daughters Elisa and Reina, sons Reggie, Anton and Elijah (bonus son), her father Lorenzo Ramirez Sr, brother Lorenzo Ramirez Jr, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws. All of who she meant the world to and they to her. Ramona's legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends that love and cherish her dearly.

A Celebration of Life Service for Ramona Anastasia Ramirez will be held from 3:30pm followed by the rosary at 6:00pm on Monday, October 30, 2023 at Castillo Funeral Home, 520 N. General McMullen, San Antonio, Tx 78228. The funeral procession will begin at 9:30am on Tuesday, I October 31,2023 leading to St. Dominic Catholic Church for mass at 10:00am then finishing at San Jose Burial Park.
