Ramona Uriegas went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at the age of 70. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 17, 1951 in San Antonio, Texas to Juan Estrada and Aurora Estrada. Ramona was a caring wife, beloved mother, cherished grandmother, great-grandmother, nurturing sister and fierce friend. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Alfredo R. Uriegas and siblings James Estrada, Santos Estrada, Juan Manuel Estrada and Rose Mary Posey. She is survived by her only child Priscilla Uriegas McColley and son in law Charles McColley, Jr; grandchildren Brandon Austin McColley and Alexis Jordan McColley; step-grandchildren Steven McColley and Justine McColley; and great-grandson Isaiah Jace Lira, step great-grandchildren Christian Arriaga, Liam Arriaga and Avery McColley. Ramona was very kind and loving soul, whom those closest to her knew her as a guardian angel on earth who lived for her family. She was a mother to all that knew and loved her and was always present to proudly witness and celebrate her family's accomplishments. We will miss her beautiful smile and her supportive embraces. Ramona, we thank you for all the wonderful memories. You will be forever missed and always be in our hearts. May your soul rest easy and peacefully until we meet again.
