January 30, 1952 – October 6, 2021
Raul D. Arriaga Jr. "Carino" of San Antonio, TX, born January 30, 1952, went to be with The Lord on October 6, 2021. He is preceded in death by his only son Raul Guerrero, daughter-in-law Rebecca Guerrero, his parents Raul Arriaga Sr. & Beatrice Duran Devora, brother Rudolfo Arriaga & sister Anntoniette Devora & step mother Esperanza Arriaga. He is survived by his sisters Margarita Flores (Juan), Beatrice Lopez, Sylvia Reyes, Laura Arriaga, Yolanda Arriaga, and brothers Larry Arriaga, Roy Arriaga, Rudy Arriaga and step father Felipe Devora and numerous nieces & nephews. Raul spent much of his life working at the Metropolitan Hospital as a Dietary Aide before he promoted to Lead and eventually retired. On the weekends he could be found playing music as a Disc Jockey known as "The Black Machine Music Light." He loved being able to play his music to watch people come together on the dance floor. His Friday nights were dedicated to watching wrestling. He was a kid at heart with the kindest soul. He will be greatly missed by all who loved & knew him.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Castillo Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m with the Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
