It is with great sadness that the Maldonado family announces that on Sunday, April 10, 2022, Raul "Boy" Maldonado, loving father of Amber "Lulu" and Raul "Ram" Maldonado, and grandfather to Luka Maldonado has passed away. Raul was born on April 19, 1973 in San Antonio, Texas, to Raul and Pat Maldonado. He is survived by a loving family: parents, Raul and Pat Maldonado; brother, Robert Maldonado and sisters Rachel, Alice, Patty, Sylvia and Irma, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Raul was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High school and grew up playing sports including baseball and football. Raul had a gentle loving heart, and playful nature. He was passionate about his 2 dogs and loved spending time outdoors with family and friends listening to music and enjoying a beer. He will be greatly missed and will forever live in our hearts.

There will be a Celebration of Life held in his honor on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at Castillo Funeral Home at 520 N General McMullen Dr, San Antonio TX 78228.
