Raul C. Moreno, our beloved father and hero was called to be with the Lord on January 12, 2022. He was blessed with 73 years of age. He was born in San Antonio, Texas, on February 16, 1948, to his parents Reynaldo Moreno and Paula Contreras.

Raul served in the United States Army Infantry Regiment and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He graduated from Edgewood High School. He married the love of his life, Margarita G. Aguilera, who preceded him in death on April 21, 2011. He was a supervisor for a construction company most of his life, and later retired to enjoy time with his family and grandchildren. He cherished the beautiful memories he created with his family throughout his 73 years with us. He was a huge fan of the San Antonio Spurs and the Dallas Cowboys. Most precious to Raul was his faith in God and his service to Templo Bethel. Raul will be missed dearly.

Raul is tremendously loved and will be missed by his sons, Isaias Moreno and wife Gloria, Emanuel Aguilera and wife Karrie; daughters, Sofie Peñuelaz and husband Billy, Melissa Quintero and husband Alberto, Pauline Venegas and husband Luis; siblings Irene Duarte and Armando Moreno. Fourteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
