Raul G. Perez born February 26, 1948 in San Benito, TX. He was called home to be with the Lord on June 24, 2021 at the blessed age of 73. He is reunited in heaven with his wife, Elia Perez, his parents, Maximino & Francisca Perez; his brothers Marcelino Perez & Abran Perez and his sister Isabel Medellin.  He is loved and will be greatly missed by his daughters Gloria Jean Taylor (William A. Taylor), Sonia F. Perez; 2 grandchildren; Tomas Raul Ervin & Celia Christina Taylor siblings; Felipe Perez, Joe G. Perez, Teresa Perez, Emilia Hernandez as well as extended family members. Heaven has gained a treasured soul. He will live forever in the hearts of his family and friends as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He lived his life honorably and gave unselfishly. Raul served his country honorably in the United States Army from June 27, 1966 to March 2, 1969. His awards include: the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. He was also a lifetime member of the VFW Post 76 San Antonio, Texas.
