Raymond Alonzo Martinez, 83, husband of Pauline Mijares Martinez, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2020.
Born in Ashley, Michigan he was the son of the late, Encarnacion (Alonzo) Martinez and Ramon Ortiz Martinez.
Raymond was predeceased by his son, Daniel Raymond Martinez, and sister, Eva Silvas
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Michael Martinez (Kim), daughter Susan Martinez Robinson (Rick) both of Greenville, SC; son Lee Martinez (Roxanne), son Rene Martinez, and daughter Maggie Ortega (Richard), all of San Antonio, TX. Sisters, Carmen (Joe) Lopez of Cibolo, TX and Vicky (Juan) Carrasco of San Antonio, TX.
He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Mr. Martinez served in the United States Air Force 1 Sep 1956 - 5 Apr 1960. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. After his military service he worked at the Landmark downtown for several years but chose his career work in upholstery and opened his own business in 1973. He was an avid wrestling fan as well as a big Dallas Cowboy fan and enjoyed spending time with his family with cookouts and barbecues.

Funeral Mass: Wednesday, November 4, 2020 Holy Family Catholic Church 9:00 am. (departure from funeral home at 8:15 am) Interment Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery ETA 10:45am
