Raymundo G. Pineda, 59, went to be with the Lord on July 18, 2023, at his residence in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on April 18, 1964, in Texas, a son of the late Kunigunde and Humberto Pineda.

He lived a life guided by faith and service. Raymundo was a proud and grateful veteran who served with the U.S. Army from 1983 to 1986. He made positive impacts in his hometown with his involvement at the Bexar Co. Sheriff's Office, San Antonio Blood Bank, and the U.S. Postal Service. Raymundo is also remembered for his love for animals and motorcycle driving.

Family members include two brothers, Humberto M. Pineda Jr. (Kelko Pineda) and Saul A. Pineda, a niece, Mystie Pineda, in addition to numerous extended family and friends.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Castillo Funeral Home with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm.

A funeral mass will be conducted on Thursday, August 3, 2023, at 9:30 am in the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower. Burial will follow at 11:15 am in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
