Rebecca (Becky) Chavira Mendoza, 65, of San Antonio, was called home to be with the Lord on April 5, 2025. She was born on August 12, 1959, to Reynaldo Chavira and Ramona Reyes Chavira. She is preceded in death by her brother, Roy; her parents and sister, Raquel.

She is survived by her  husband, Jesse; children, Sandy (Josh) Everest, David (Angela) Castaneda, Lisa (Gerry) Madero and Nathan (Sonya) Castaneda; Stepsons, Jesse Mendoza Jr, Daniel Mendoza and Fabian Mendoza; Siblings, Bobby Chavira, Rene (Melba) Chavira and Barbara (Jaime) Ramirez . She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, her 3 beloved dogs, as well as many family friends and coworkers.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Castillo Funeral Home from 1:30 p.m. until -5 p.m. A Rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
