Our beloved Mother Rebecca (Becky) passed away on December 28, 2023. Surrounded by her love loves.
She was 83 years old, born in San Antonio, TX on November 10, 1940.
In her early years she worked as a waitress at Valero's Italian Restaurant on Broadway St. across the Witte
Museum there she met our dad. Later she worked selling Candy Apples at the H.L.Green across the Alamo.
Took some time off to raise all 5 of us. Then she returned to work as a Cook/Waitress at St. Anthony
Hotel, later she worked in Housekeeping in Santa Rosa Hospital and then at Medical Center. Then she
traveled with our dad the 48 states and enjoyed it.
She was a Fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Longhorns and the Spurs. She would Scream at the top of her
lungs when they would score and LOUDER when they wouldn't.
She loved when the whole family would get together. She would laugh and enjoyed joking around with
everyone. These last few months it became harder for her to joke around or enjoy herself but she would
just sit there and look at each one as if she was looking at them for the last time. She got to see her
grandchildren and Great grandchildren laughing and enjoying themselves one last time.
Our Mother went through a lot but always fought back, she had 3 strokes since 2019 but this time God
decided to take her home so she didn't have to fight anymore.
She will be Missed by all who loved her and those who met her throughout her life. Thank you GOD
because she is no longer Suffering.
Becky was preceded by her son Adrian Garza 1963-1991
Becky will truly be Missed by her husband of 67yrs Eliseo Garza, daughters Deborah Garza, Denise (Jeffrey)
Gonzalez and sons Antonio (Mayte) Garza and Adam Garza; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 5
sisters; 1 brother; numerous nieces, nephews; extended family and friends.
Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother you will always be in our Hearts and we will Truly Miss
You.
