Regino Briones, born on September 7, 1943, has passed into the loving arms of the Lord on October 31, 2022.

He was greeted at the Heavenly gates by brother, Fidel Martinez; and great-grandchild, Angel Baby. He was employed by Our Lady of the Lake University, painting in the maintenance department for 12 years, before retiring in 2015. Regino was a huge movie buff. He loved eating with his family, music and dancing. He could always be found doing home improvement projects, shopping for electronics and going to the flea markets. He had a knack for making people smile by making faces.

Regino's memory is cherished and carried on by his loving wife of 50 years, Juana Briones; sons, Jose Antonio Briones (Elizabeth), Salvador Briones (Esther); Daughter, Myriam Briones Rodriguez (Richard); Grandchildren, Melanie Nicole Gallegos, Salvador Briones Jr., Briones, Bianca Alexis Briones, Marc Anthony Briones, Ricardo Esteban Rodriguez, Analese Alexandria Briones, Clarissa Marie Briones, Ceasar Julian Rodriguez, Carlos Andres Briones and Esai Alexander Rodriguez; Great-grandchildren, Xzavier Jayden Gallegos; and Siblings, Maria Carmen Rocha, Magdalena Martinez, Francisca Martinez and Juan Martinez.
