Reynaldo "Ray" Martinez peacefully passed away on his 73rd birthday, April 26, 2025.

Ray was born in San Antonio, TX and was affectionately known as the baby of the family. He was always willing to sit outside to talk about the olden days and partake in a cold beverage or a few. He loved riding his motorcycle, being outdoors, going fishing, listening to the oldies and giving nicknames to the people he cared about. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and many others who had the pleasure of knowing him. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended but for the way it was lived.

Ray is preceded in death by his Daughter: Celestina Martinez, Parents; Celestina Sanchez Martinez and Francisco G. Martinez, Siblings; Olivia "Lee" M. Guerrero, Virginia "Vergie" Rios, Francisca "Francis" M. Rodriguez, Francisco "Frank" Martinez Jr., Angelina "Angie" Obregon and Ruben S. Martinez.

Ray is survived by his son's; Reynaldo Martinez, Jr., and Antonio "Tony" Martinez, 3 sisters; Josephina "Josie" De La Rosa, Belia "Betty" Hereira and Yolanda "Yolie" M. Crouch, several Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and many other family members and friends.

Due to cremation requested by Reynaldo, a celebration of his life will be held in his honor on Friday, May 9th, 2025.
