Ricardo H. Araiza passed away peacefully on July 2, 2022 surrounded by the warmth and love of his family.  He was 75 years old. He was born in San Antonio, Texas, on July 25, 1947.

Ricardo worked for the City of Castle Hills for 27 years and retired from there. In the winter of 1972 he married his sweetheart Gloria Vega he was a loving husband to her., He was a giving man and always willing to help others. He was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the San Antonio Spurs. He will be missed tremendously.

Ricardo is also preceded in death by his son, Gabriel V. Araiza.

Ricardo is loved and will be missed by his wife Gloria Araiza and son Ricardo V. Araiza Jr., daughter-in law Anna Araiza. His seven grandchildren, Alexia, Jonathan, Joey, Vincent, Timothy, Stephen and Austin and 4 great-grandchildren: and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
