Ricardo Hugo Amador Chiquillo passed away on June 19, 2022, at the age of 55.

Ricardo was born on April 29, 1967, in Mexico. He was the hardest working, never one to shy away from the difficult tasks in his life. Ricardo and his wife Elvira Chiquillo shared a thirty-three adventure and marriage together. He helped shape his three incredible children into adults who are successful in carrying the legacy he now leaves behind. He was the best mechanic in town, always generous with his skill to everyone in need. He successfully ran his shop for many years on the west side of San Antonio until his passing. Ricardo enjoyed the simple pleasures of life; riding his beloved Harley down the open road, great conversations, making someone smile, and feeling hopeful for the future of those he knew. As the greatest role model we knew, he will be missed tremendously.

He inspired those around him to be better individuals. His capacity for generosity knew no bounds. He was someone who would help anyone in need with support, encouragement, and guidance. Ricardo loved when family and friends got together. Those times exist in our memories and will be cherished forever. We loved his caring ways, he will be immensely missed, and his memory will live on. Your shared memories, comforting condolences and gestures of love are truly appreciated.

He is survived by his children, Araceli Chiquillo, Adrian Chiquillo, and Alondra Chiquillo; grandchildren, Ezra, Aliano, Camila, and Ariella; siblings, Veronica, Adriana, Movvis, Juan, Javier, Juan De Dios; eleven nieces; eight nephews, in addition to numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022, at Castillo Funeral Home from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm. All services will conclude Friday.
