With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ricardo F. Flores, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother, who entered eternal rest on August 15, 2026, at the age of 73. He was preceded in death by his parents Roberto and Petra, his siblings, Roberto Jr., Ruven, Angela and Ramon. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Roselinda C. Flores along with their four children, Veronique, Ricardo Jr., Victoria and Velinda. He graduated from Sidney Lanier High School, class of 1971, joined the United States Army for eight years active and seven years Army reserve. Sergeant Ricardo F. Flores was honorably discharged after his service. He earned three degrees from St. Philip's College. Ricardo retired from Kelly Air Force Base in 2001 and worked for ten years at Kelly Aviation Center (Lockheed-Martin) until 2015. He was fortunate to be blessed with six grandchildren, Brianna, Andrew, Jose, Adrian, Bianca and Violet. Four great grandchildren, Roselynn, Ivy, Daisy and Liliana. He also leaves behind his siblings Raul, Rogelio, Rosalinda, Reynaldo and Santa. His family finds comfort knowing that his journey is now complete and that he is reunited with those he loved and lost before him. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of those who called him husband, dad, grandpa, brother and friend.
