Ricardo Eduardo Garza, Sr. nació en Nueva Rosita, Coahuila el 25 de febrero de 1936. Se casó con el amor de su vida, Martha Hernández de Garza el 13 de mayo de 1953 y vivieron juntos en Piedras Negras Coahuila hasta 1980, luego se mudaron y crearon una vida juntos en San Antonio, Texas. Juntos criaron a 6 hijos: Luis Alonso Garza (3 hijos), Ricardo Eduardo Garza Jr. (Norma; 4 hijos/ 5 hijastros), Norma Garza (7 hijos), +Martha Idalia Pérez (4 hijas), Rosie Sela De León (Jose Luis; 4 hijos), Gustavo Garza (Maria Irma; 2 hijos). También le sobrevive su hermano Osvaldo Garza, numerosos bisnietos, 2 bis-bisnietos y numerosos amigos/familiares. Al crecer, a Ricardo le encantaba participar en concursos de baile. Él y su esposa son grandes amantes de la música. Siempre bailando toda la noche en las reuniones familiares. Le gustaba jugar al billar, a las cartas y sobre todo probar todo tipo de comida. Su favorito era aguacates, pan dulce, leche y sandía. Ricardo era un esposo amoroso, un gran padre y un abuelo maravilloso. Ricardo dejó este mundo demasiado pronto, pero nos ha dejado una cantidad increíble de amor y recuerdos maravillosos. Ricardo es precedido en la muerte por su hija Martha Idalia Perez, hermano; Jesus Garza, hermanas; Rosa, Petra, Eva, Ofilia, Rosa, Lilia, y Carmen Garza. También tiene un hermano perdido hace mucho tiempo; Pascual Garza. Familiares y Amigos están invitados a asistir a la celebración de su vida.
Ricardo Eduardo Garza, Sr . was born in Nueva Rosita, Coahuila on February 25, 1936. He married the love of his life, Martha Hernandez de Garza on May 13, 1953 and they lived together in Piedras Negras Coahuila until 1980, then moving and creating a life together in San Antonio, Texas. Together they raised 6 children: Luis Alonso Garza (3 children), Ricardo Eduardo Garza Jr. (Norma; 4 children/ 5 stepchildren), Norma Garza (7 children), +Martha Idalia Perez (4 children), Rosie Sela De Leon (Jose Luis; 4 children), Gustavo Garza (Maria Irma; 2 children / 3 stepchildren). He is also survived his brother Osvaldo Garza, numerous great grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren and numerous friends/families. Growing up Ricardo loved to enter dance competitions. He and his wife were huge lovers of music. Always dancing the night away at family gatherings. He enjoyed playing billiards, cards, and most of all trying all types of food. His favorite was avocados, sweet bread, milk, and watermelon. Ricardo was a loving husband, great dad, and a wonderful grandpa. Ricardo left this world too soon, but he has left us with an amazing amount of love and wonderful memories. Ricardo is proceeded in death by his daughter; Martha Idalia Perez, brother; Jesus Garza, sisters; Rosa, Petra, Eva, Ofilia, Rosa, Lilia, and Carmen Garza. He also has a long lost brother; Pascual Garza. Family and Friends are invited to attend the celebration of life.
