Ricardo R. Plata also known as "Ricky", 49, was called home to be with God on October 17, 2024. He was born on May 31st, 1975 in San Antonio, Texas to his parents: Javier G. Plata Sr. and Patricia Moreno Plata.

Ricardo Plata was a person who was known for his loving and caring heart, humorous attitude, and God fearing faith. He had a  profound love for being outdoors, being with his family, and enjoying the little things in life.

Ricardo Plata is survived by his three sons: Ricardo Plata and his wife Alisha Plata and their three daughters: Elena Plata, Eliana Plata and Cecilia Plata, his son Joseph Plata and wife Samantha Plata and his youngest son Hunter Plata, all who he shared with (ex wife) Bridgett Sauceda.

Ricardo Plata has reunited with mother, his brother Carlos Plata and his nephew Javier "JP" Plata.

Ricardo Plata will be deeply missed by his father, Javier G. Plata Sr. and wife Norma Plata; siblings, Monica P. Martinez, Javier "Pato" Plata, Vanessa P. Canales, Cecilio Plata, Fabiola Plata, Dayanna Plata and Freddy Plata.

He will forever be remembered as not only a great father but a wonderful grandfather by those who love and will miss him deeply.
