Ricardo Villarreal was called home by the Lord on April 23, 2021, at the age of 69. He was born in San Antonio, Texas, on March 19, 1952.

He is preceded in death by his father, Rudy Villarreal; mother, Julia Villarreal; brothers, Benny, Camillo and Rudy Villarreal Jr.; and a granddaughter and grandson.

He is loved and will be missed by his wife of 50 years, Edna Villarreal; children, Norma Villarreal (Tony), Annette Thomas, Nancy Espinoza (Jesse), Laura Villarreal (Jen Valdez), Lori Castilleja (John), Marisela Villarreal, Desirae Villarreal, Chris Gonzalez Jr., Isabella Gonzalez and Alex Yanez Jr.; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
