Richard Granado Jr., born on November 11, 1986, entered into eternal rest on July 3rd, 2025, at the age of 38. Richard was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School in 2005 where he enjoyed playing football and wrestling. As a youth he was involved in many CYO sports and enjoyed playing instruments such as the guitar and viola.
He went on and earned a degree as an aviation mechanic. Throughout the years, Richard built a career in the aviation industry, starting here in his home town San Antonio, TX and taking him to Louisiana, South Carolina, Arizona, and Oklahoma. Eventually he came back to San Antonio to work in the roofing business with his family.
From his earliest days, Richard was a rebel; a force of nature who lived many rich and varied lives. Although Richard found joy in many aspects of life, he especially enjoyed fishing, coaching youth sports, working and fixing anything that had wheels and a motor, 2 steppin' and travling all around our great state of Texas but most of all his family and friends.
Most that knew him would agree he was a man with a witty sense of humor and could easily fill a room with laughter. He was always there to help out when others needed it or asked for it. He is deeply loved and will be missed dearly.
He is loved and will be greatly missed by his son, Landon Aiden Granado; parents, Richard Granado and Maria Elena Granado; siblings, Carlos Granado (Adrianna) and Yvette Villalobos (Ruben); nieces and nephews, Nicholas Granado, Tyler Granado, Zachary Villalobos, Paisley Granado, Ryan Villalobos "Stinky", and Noah Villalobos; as well as numerous extended family members and friends who will all cherish his memory.
