Richard M. Loera was born on September 24, 1946, and was called home to be with our Lord on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 77 years old. He was surrounded by the love and warmth of his family.

He married the love of his life, Evangelina R. Loera at the age of 18 years old on February 20, 1965. They soon began their family. He survived by his wife Evangelina for 59 years and children: Gloria Stuart(Randy), Linda Loera(Ernesto Castillo) Richard Loera Jr(Corinne), Louis and Cynthia(Jose), and 10 grandchildren: Kimberly, Randy Jr, Matthew, Justin, Angie(Robert), Angelica, Richard III(Laurie), Patrick(Jessica), Tony, and Joey and 12 great-grandchildren: Robert Jr, Bryan, Angel Hailey, Eric, Nevaeh, Gizelle, Julian, Breanna, Richard IV, Lily, Tiffany, and Iris.

He was a man of all trades. He loved boxing and coaching kids to teach them. He loved music of all types, especially Conjunto, Tejano, and Cruising Classics. He always helped in fixing vehicles. He was always a man to lend a hand if you were in need of help. He touched so many lives. He was a father figure to many family members and friends. He especially loved his dogs and cat that he called: Los Babies de Popo which were Mugzy, Coco, Daisy, Bella, and Midnight.
