Rita D. Gonzales went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 1, 2023 at the blessed age of 77. She was born April 25, 1945 in San Antonio, TX to Jose and Tomasa De Hoyos. She is reunited in heaven with her parents; husband Jose Gonzales, Sr; son Jake Gonzales; daughter Michelle Gonzales and her sister Delia Garcia and 5 brothers Josesito De Hoyos, Victor Dehoyos, Rudy Dehoyos, David De Hoyos, Mateo De Hoyos and 3 sister in laws Diane Dehoyos, Alice De Hoyos, Linda Cantu and 4 brother in laws Arturo Garcia, Hector Alejos, Jerry Gonzales and Merced Gonzales Jr, and her Mother in law and Father in Law Merced and Valentina Gonzales. She is loved and will be greatly missed by her son Jose Gonzales, Jr and his wife Lourdes Gonzales; grandchildren Sarah Gomez, Selena Vasquez, Adrian Vasquez; great-grandchildren Adrian James Vasquez, Chanel Cassidy Gomez, Anthony Jay Vasquez, Juan De La Rosa, III "J.J"; siblings Tomas, Enrique, Jose, Esperanza, Leonor, Josephina, Samuel, Miguel Antonio; as well as extended family members and countless dear friends. Heaven has gained a treasured soul. She will live forever in our hearts…until we meet again.
