Robert (Bobby) Mares gained his wings and entered into eternal rest on December 7, 2021, at the age of 53 with his wife by his side. Bobby was born on June 11, 1968, in San Antonio, Texas. Bobby is proceeded in death by his parents Santiago & Maria Isabel Mares and his brother Manuel Mares. He was a wonderful Father, Husband and Brother. He devoted his time with all his family and friends. He loved to make everyone laugh and took pride in helping others. Bobby never let the obstacles in his life hold him back. He worked at Boeing for many years, following his passion of painting. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years JoAnn Mares, Son Joseph Mares, Daughters Alyssa, Marissa Mares, Son in law John Daniel Hernandez and Grandson Jayden Hernandez and numerous siblings and extended family members. Heaven has gained our most beloved Blessing. He will live forever in our hearts.

A visitation will be held at Castillo Funeral Home on Monday, December 13, 2021, from 2:30 pm to 8:00 pm with a chapel service to begin at 6:00pm.
