Obituary

Robert Andrew May II was born on July 9, 1989 in San Antonio, TX to Robert A. May and Manuela Cantú Woolley, ended his journey on this earth on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at the age of 32. He is reunited in heaven with his maternal grandparents; Enrique G. and Christina T. Cantú, paternal grandfather; Cleveland "Red" May, uncle; Enrique Cantú Jr, aunts Christina H. Colunga and Evangeline Del Rio, cousin; Susanne H. Arreguin (that shares the same birthday as Robert) and second cousin; Nicolas Alexander Ugarte.

He is loved and will greatly be missed by his parents, two brothers; Michael Andrew May "Christy" Anthony Paul Cantú "Anne" and his paternal grandmother; Sarah Helen May. He leaves behind his step-father; Raymond A. Woolley, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins as well as many extended family members, friends and co-workers.

Robert was a hard worker and never afraid of getting his hands dirty. Always looking for a new adventure or learning how to do something new. While he attended South San Antonio High School, he belonged to various groups of studies that he enjoyed and excelled in such as refrigeration, welding, and robotics. He would even help his father at their family business "RAM Motorcycles" just to see what else he could learn.  Later, he attended Career Point College to learn how to work on computers.

Robert was very passionate about cooking and worked at various restaurants; downtown at Schilo's, Whiskey Cake at La Cantera and Tycoon Flats on St. Mary's strip to name a few but his last employment was at Subway.

He also loved playing his video games, listening to music and making people laugh. He also liked to dance and be the life of the party. The music he listened to was a broad range and sometimes he would even surprise his father by some of his music choices. After he graduated High School, he learned how to play an electric guitar and even attempted to learn how to play the trombone in Jr. High.

In 2012, he rented his first apartment in downtown San Antonio on Broadway. This was something he was so proud of that he would often like to pretend that he lived on a busy New York Street. In 2015 he bought himself a new car that became his proud and joy, his 2015 Dodge Dart. Later that year he made a bold, brave move to the state of Colorado to give himself a fresh new start and was very heart broken when he moved back to San Antonio because it wasn't the life that he had hoped for.

Robert also loved his pets. As a young boy he had a cat named Sabrina that he would often bathe. His last two pets were dogs; Tina and Roscoe that he was very kind to and would bathe them too!

Heaven has gained a treasured soul, he will live in the hearts of his parents, family members and friends forever. Rest in peace my baby boy, my Punkin, our loved one, our friend!
