Robert
Rodriguez
April 1, 1953 – October 11, 2021
On wings of an angel Robert Rodriguez was taken to Our Lord on October 11, 2021. He is survived by his spouse Angelica. His children: Sarah Rodriguez, Bianca Rodriguez and Daniel Rodriguez. His stepchildren: Rafael, Ricardo, Daniel, Isabel and AnaLilia. His Mother, Soledad Rodriguez, siblings: Juan Rodriguez, Concepcion R De Guerrero, Carmen Cervantes, Eulalio Rodriguez, Mary Lou Hipolito, Mary Jane McGeoy, and numerous nieces; nephews and grandnephews and nieces.
Robert was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He faithfully served his country and fellowmen. His beloved Holy Cross High School was a beacon of light when he visited San Antonio; always gravitating to the West Side to visit and support his Alma Mater. A Knight for Life.
Robert never forgot Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and school on El Paso Street where he served as altar boy for many years and played the role of Juan Diego on the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. He was a product of Catholic School Education.
His love of nature led him to the mountains, the beach, rivers and forests. He was a little child exploring every corner of Mother Earth's beauty. Humanity, charity and compassion filled his life, especially helping those who could not help themselves. Robert provided healthcare to disadvantaged residents of East Los Angeles, Ontario and most of California farmworkers.
His memory is a blessing to us all. May he rest in eternal peace.
