Robert R. Thompson was called home to our Lord on November 11, 2020 at the age of 68. Born on October 18, 1952 in San Antonio, TX to Cecilio Ernesto and Francisca Ruiz Thompson. He was a devoted husband and is survived by his beautiful wife Diana G. Thompson of 45 years and an amazing father to four loving daughters Christine, Thompson, Stephanie Thompson, Diane-Marie Thompson, and Valerie Thompson. He was an amazing grandfather of 9 grandchildren and caring brother to Guadalupe Thompson, Consuelo Thompson, Ernest Thompson and Mary Thompson; and loved by other relatives and friends. Robert loved being with his family and that is exactly how he chose to live his life. The simple pleasure of being surrounded by his wife, children, and grandchildren gave him great joy. He will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Robert's life at Castillo Mission Funeral Home on Monday, November 23, 2020. Visitation will be from 4pm to 7:30pm with a Prayer Service at 6pm.
