Robert R. Vasquez entered eternal rest on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at the age of 59. He was born July 7, 1962 in San Antonio, TX to Jesus and Gloria Vasquez. He was a Gulf War veteran of the United States Navy having served 10 years and honorably discharged after fulfillment of service obligation. During his service, his primary specialty was as a non-nuclear welder. His last assignment was to the USS Shenandoah and his rank was Petty Officer 1st Class Hull Maintenance Technician. After his military duty, he worked a few different job positions related to his welding experience. His last job had been with Integrity Manufacturing where he worked over 17 years. He is reunited in heaven with his parents and loving family pet dog, Mazie. He is loved and will be greatly missed by his wife Cynthia Cardenas Vasquez; children Christina Marie Cardenas, Robert Vasquez, Jr., Rebecca Gloria Vasquez, Clarissa Madeleine Vasquez; siblings Jesus Vasquez, Jr., Javier Vasquez, Iris V. Luna, Charles A. Vasquez, Jose G. Gonzales, III; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends. He will live forever in our hearts.
