Robert C. Venzor, 78, of Castroville, Texas passed away on March 21, 2026.

He was born on July 15, 1947, in San Antonio, Texas to Maximiano and Manuela Venzor. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 49 years Juanita D. Venzor.

Robert was a hardworking and dedicated man who went on to build a life defined by perseverance and commitment.

He spent many years as an over-the-road truck driver, a career that allowed him to travel extensively and experience all 50 states. He took great pride in his work and cherished the opportunity to see the country through his journeys.

Robert enjoyed working with his hands, especially creating and repairing watch bands, crafting one-of-a-kind men's jewelry, and making walking canes and sticks. He also loved fishing, often spending time on the piers of Corpus Christi and Goose Island—places that brought him great peace and joy.

Robert is survived by his children, Martin I. Venzor, Sr., Michelle L. Venzor, and Erick E. Venzor; his grandchildren, Martin I. Venzor, Jr., Paul R. Venzor, Nathaniel D. Rodriguez and Katrina M. Venzor; and his great-grandchildren, Adisyn M. Venzor, Brooklyn L. Venzor, Tulip C. Chinn Rodriguez, and Jackson P. Venzor.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at Castillo Funeral Home on April 8, 2026, beginning at 4:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on April 9, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Church, followed by interment at Mission Burial Park.
