Roberto Bonilla passed into the arms of our Lord on April 28 ^th , 2022 at the blessed age of 68. He was born on April 3 ^rd , 1954, to Tomasa Bonilla and Carmen De Jesus Bonilla. Waiting for him at the Heavenly Gate was his parents, sister Anna Belia Navarrete; and brothers Rodolfo Bonilla and Jesus Bonilla. Roberto was self-employed with Bonilla Sheet Metal Roofing, that he established over 40 plus years. He was passionate about his business and took pride in every roof he installed or repaired. He enjoyed his corridos, going to Jaripeos and trips to the casinos. Remodeling and flipping homes were his passion and he just couldn't say no. Roberto leaves to cherish his memory loving wife of 50 years Juanita Bonilla; daughters Esmeralda Bonilla (Fred Rodriguez), Sandra B. Barrera (Richard Barrera), Janice V. Bonilla (Daniel Ramos); granddaughters Mireya Barrera and Destiny Nicole Ojeda; grandsons Roberto Vidal Tamez and Adam James Rodriguez; sister Dora Elia Hurtado and many other family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 10 ^th , 2022 starting at 4:00pm with a rosary to be recited at 6:00pm. Family and friends will depart Castillo Funeral Home on Wednesday May 11th at 9:30am for a 10:00am funeral mass at St. John Berchman Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery #3.
