Roberto was an accomplished songwriter and truck driver, both of which he found great joy in. When he would come home he always had bags full of toys for his grandkids, pictures of things like snow or funky looking cars, and stories from the road of things he'd seen. Sometimes even carrying a DVD of the newest song he'd written and the video they made for it. He enjoyed watching WWE Monday Night Raw (which he passed on to his grandkids), loved a good slice of tres leches, and sharing a SINGLE taco with his grandkids anytime anyone spoke about going out to eat. He is survived by his wife Guadalupe,He is also Survived by his sisters Maria Mata, Janie Gutierrez, and brother Fidel Contreras. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marcelina and Alejandro Contreras, and his brother Ezequiel Contreras.

His viewing will be held at Castillo Funeral Home, November 2, 2021, 2:30-6:30 pm.

Burial: November 3, 2021, departing at 9:15 and heading to Wildflower Cemetery.
