Roberto Ramirez, Sr. passed away peacefully on January 5, 2024, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family at the age of 94 years old. He was born in San Antonio, Texas, on August 14, 1929.

Roberto was preceded in death by his parents, Alvaro, Sr. and Teresa Ramirez, and three brothers, Rudy, Alvaro, Jr., and Emilio Ramirez. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary Ann Ramirez; his three children, Robert (Aurora) Ramirez, Jr., Richard (Susan) Ramirez, and Virginia (Robert) Ramirez Tooke; three grandchildren, Christopher (Maria) Ramirez, Tiffany (Andrew) Tooke-Meza, and Taylor Tooke; and two great grandchildren, Christopher, Jr. and Jordan.

Roberto served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. After his military service he worked at Kelly Air Force Base where he eventually retired. Roberto was also a parishioner of St. John Berchmans Catholic Church.

He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
