Obituary

Roberto Yzaguirre Perez was called home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on January 29, 2021.  Roberto was born July 3, 1946 to Estefana Yzaguirre Gonzalez and Vicente Perez in Brownsville, Tx. He is preceded in death by his sister Elena Jones and survived by siblings, Vicente Perez, John Jones and Christina Baker. Roberto is survived by his wife, Juana of 54 years and their son Cesar Perez (Veronica M. Perez).  Roberto and his wife Juana moved to San Antonio in 1986 where he worked at our local H-E-B for 36 years. It was during this time that Roberto retired from the United State Army Reserve. He always enjoyed working as well as spending his free time doing yard work. Roberto, who was also referred to as "Papo",  loved spending time with his five grandchildren,  Kristin A. Perez, Victoria G. Maldonado, Alexander C. Perez, Vivian I. Maldonado and Julianna V. Perez as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Roberto will always be remembered in our hearts and will be dearly missed, until we meet again. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual Light shine upon him, may he Rest In Peace. Amen.
