Obituary

Rodolfo G. Garcia passed away on September 11, 2020. He was 67 years old. Rodolfo was born in San Antonio to Pedro Garcia and Juanita Garcia on November 11, 1952. He grew up with 6 siblings, 5 brothers and 1 sister, Isidoro Garcia, Pedro Jr. Garcia, Juan Garcia, Francisco Garcia, Maria Zamora, and Raul Garcia. He loved mechanics at an early age and was very passionate about his work throughout his life. In his spare time, he loved working on anything he could tinker with. Rodolfo's favorite saying was "Not to Worry Strawberry."

In his late teens, he reconnected with Consuelo Lopez. They fell in love and within a short time were married. Within 2 years they started a family, complete with Gloria Garcia, Rodolfo Jr Garcia and Ricardo Garcia. As a family, they loved camping, traveling, gardening and auto mechanics. Being a kind and dependable father was the most important role to Rodolfo, and certainly did not disappoint when it came to wholeheartedly loving his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Consuelo L. Garcia; father, Pedro P. Garcia; and mother, Juanita Garcia. Also surviving him are all his brothers and sister, along with 3 children, 15 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Castillo on September 21, 2020, \with a Viewing from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m., A Rosary to be recited at 6 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Procession will depart at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, for a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Jude Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Fernando III.
