Obituary

On the 30th of July 2021, Rodolfo (Rudy) Villarreal Ybarra peacefully passed away at the age of 77. He was surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. He was born in Port Lavaca, Texas on the 27th of December 1943 to the late Senobio B. and Juanita Villarreal Ybarra. Rodolfo Villarreal Ybarra served in the United States Army for 23 years and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He had a passion for Aviation and always mentioned how he loved flying his Cobra and Huey helicopters. Rodolfo also worked for 15 years as a civilian at Fort Sam Houston Texas. He was an Army Soldier for most of his life and later retired to enjoy his time with family and grandchildren. He treasured the beautiful memories he created with his family throughout his time. He was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs and didn't let anyone change his mind on them. Most important was his faith in God and in everyone around him. He will be missed tremendously by those he helped and guided in his lifetime, as well as his beloved wife of 32 years - Irma Marie Ybarra. He is survived by his (Sons) Robert E. Ybarra, Rodoflo Antonio Ybarra, Jacob Gonzalez and Rudy N. Ybarra , (Daughters) Felicia E. Luna, Nancy A. Campos and Jennifer M. San Agustin; 17 Grandchildren ,(Brothers) Senobio Ybarra, Rogelio Ybarra, Ramiro Ybarra, (Sister) Leticia Gonzales, numerous nephews and nieces, extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents as well as his brothers Billy Ybarra, Julio Ybarra, Salvador Ybarra and sister Isabel Vasquez.
