Rodrigo L. Villegas falleció el 25 de enero del 2025 en su hogar con el amor de su familia. Tenía 69 años y nació el 22 de enero del 1956 en San Juan de Sabinas, Coahuila, México.

Fue un amado esposo, padre, abuelo, hermano, y tío, un verdadero hombre de familia. Trabajó en varios empleos en su juventud, primero y más notablemente con su tío reparando autos. Trabajó para Levi Strauss & Co. durante 19 años antes de obtener una certificación en HVAC y luego trabajar como técnico de mantenimiento para las escuelas Head Start. El tiempo pasado con la familia y amigos son todos sus recuerdos favoritos. Creó una hermosa familia propia con su esposa Sonia Villegas, a quien le dedicó su vida. Era un coleccionista de monedas, amaba la buena comida compartida con su familia y le encantaba reír y estar al servicio de cualquiera que lo necesitara con sus años de experiencia y abundancia de conocimientos.

Rodrigo es precedido en la muerte por su papá, Rodrigo Legazzpi Villegas, su mamá, Angelica Legazzpi Saenz, y su hermana, Romelia Barrera Maltos.

Rodrigo dejó un legado de amor y devoción, un verdadero ejemplo de un buen hombre. Será amado y extrañado por su esposa, Sonia Villegas, sus hijos, Jhoselin Villegas, Yamilet Villegas y Jahaziel Villegas, sus nietos, Amaris Gomez, Marcelo Gomez y Levi Herrera, sus hermanas, Consuelo Aguilar y Delfina Villegas Legazzpi, sus numerosos sobrinos, y su familia extendida y amigos.

Rodrigo L. Villegas passed away on January 25th, 2025 in his home with the love of his family. He was 69 years old and was born on January 22nd, 1956. in San Juan de Sabinas, Coahuila, Mexico.

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, a true family man. He worked several jobs in his younger years, first and most notably with his uncle repairing cars. He worked for Levi Strauss & Co. for 19 years before getting an HVAC certification and going on to work as a maintenance technician for Head Start schools. Time spent with family and friends are all his favorite memories. He created a beautiful family of his own with his wife Sonia Villegas, to whom he dedicated his life. He was a coin collector, loved good food shared with his family, and loved to laugh and be of service to anyone who needed it with his years of experience and plethora of knowledge.

Rodrigo is preceded in death by his father, Rodrigo Legazzpi Villegas, his mother, Angelica Legazzpi Saenz, and his sister, Romelia Barrera Maltos.

Rodrigo left behind a legacy of love and devotion, a true exemplar of a good man. He will remain loved and missed by his wife, Sonia Villegas, his children, Jhoselin Villegas, Yamilet Villegas, and Jahaziel Villegas, his grandchildren, Amaris Gomez, Marcelo Gomez, and Levi Herrera, his sisters, Consuelo Aguilar and Delfina Villegas Legazzpi, his numerous nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends.
