Rogelio
Calvillo
December 9, 1946 – January 28, 2020
On Tuesday, January 28th our beloved Father, Rogelio Calvillo, slipped the bonds of this temporal world and was received in glory into the Eternal Kingdom of his Savior, Lord & Master Jesus Christ.
While on Earth, our Father looked ahead with anticipation to his heavenly homecoming, having the full assurance of Salvation by Grace through Faith… And having received the Guarantor of his Salvation, The Holy Spirit, his greatest joy became the advancement of The Kingdom of Jesus Christ by the proclamation of The Word of God.
Our Father's life and legacy is one of redemption, transformation and the demonstration of the New Creation in Christ Jesus.
Through many trials, tribulations, pains, sufferings, sicknesses and disease he entered into his rest and the reward that has been set aside for him from before the foundation of the world was ever laid… And he is now, an eyewitness to the glory that awaits us all who believe…
A glory so great that The Apostle Paul writes, "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, nor has it entered into the heart of mankind the things which God hath prepared for those who love him."
Our Father was preceded in death by his father, Ramiro H. Calvillo, his mother, Victoria Calvillo, his sisters, Victoria Chavarria, Patricia Martinez & Barbara Medina as well as his brother, Raul A. Calvillo
He is survived by his children and their spouses, Roger & Tiffany Calvillo, Patricia & Thomas Godbold and Joaquin & Anna Calvillo; His grandchildren, Chloe Calvillo, Rebecca Gibson Pompa, Deborah Gibson, Emily Gibson, and great grandchildren, Julianne Rose & Owen Elliot Pompa; His Sisters, Maria Flores, Rosario Gonzalez, Margie Trevino, Lydia Calvillo, Gracie Calvillo, Sarita Ramirez and Lorena Calvillo as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nephews and Nieces.
Until we meet again… May we live as you lived… All for the glory of God.
