Rogelio "Roger" Salinas entered our world on July 17, 1962, and he entered heaven on February 28, 2022.  Roger was preceded in his graduation to heaven by his parents, Saul Omar Sr. and Genevieve Salinas; his siblings Saul Salinas, Jerry Salinas, and Sandra Lopez; and his grandson, Leonidas.

Roger is survived by his wife of 37 years and 6 months happily married, Alejandra Salinas; his children: Lazarus Salinas (Carlee); Noelle Salinas; Daniel Salinas, and Josiah Salinas; his grandchildren: Gideon, Leon & Levi (Lazarus) Tydus, Lexa, Ezri, and Remi (Noelle).  His surviving siblings are Irma Park, Sylvia Salinas, and Albert Salinas.  He will also be missed by many other relatives, friends, and the church family that he pastored.

Roger was a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio and worked as a Regional Facilities Manager for C&W Services.  But more importantly, he was a servant of the Lord.  Early on in ministry, he was a bi-vocational Baptist minister; then he pastored Betania Baptist Church for over 18 years.  For the past 10 years until his graduation to heaven, he pastored A New Beginning Community Baptist Church.

Roger loved to share Christ with others. He was a prayer warrior, he had a servant's heart, and he loved God with all his heart, mind, and soul.  His favorite scripture was Psalm 103 – "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His Holy Name!"
