Heaven gained a great man as Roland G. Martinez, age 65, died peacefully in his sleep on June 18, 2021, with Rosalinda his wife of 40 years by his side. Roland has passed from this life into eternal life.

Roland was born to the late Erasmo C. and Rebecca Martinez in San Antonio Tx on January 7, 1956. Roland brought immense joy to those around him, he was deeply loved and will be incredibly missed. He worked for the Southwest Research Institution as a welder for 30 years. Roland enjoyed barbequing and loved seeing football (Green Bay Packers) and basketball (Spurs). Roland was a quiet person but would lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Roland is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Viola Fuentas, and his brother Erasmo Martinez Jr.

Roland is survived by his wife Rosalinda Martinez and his sons, Roland Martinez Jr (Krissy) and Ray Isaac Martinez (Alyssa). He leaves behind to cherish in his memory his granddaughters; Charlize Martinez, Karley Martinez, Victoria Martinez, and his grandson; Liam Adrian Martinez and siblings; Sylvia Beynard, Grace M. Villela, Becky Solis, and Edward Martinez.
