Obituary

IN LOVING MEMORY OF ROLAND

Roland was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend who loved life and found joy in the people and experiences that made it meaningful. He had a compassionate heart and cared deeply for his family and close friends. He especially enjoyed celebrating holidays, decorating for each occasion, and bringing the spirit of the season to life.
Roland was a devoted father who took great pride in raising his son, Jeremy Soto. As a single father, he worked hard to provide Jeremy with safety, security, and the best life he could offer. He believed in teaching his son important life lessons and continued guiding him with love and wisdom until the end. He welcomed the support of his family and the Mosier and Rodriguez families, who shared in Jeremy’s life and helped create a strong circle of love around him.
A hardworking and resourceful man, Roland worked in material facilities and logistics, as well as landscaping and horticulture. He was willing to do whatever it took to provide for his son and family. He was also an artist, designer, and decorator who enjoyed using his creativity to bring beauty into the world around him.
Roland loved the outdoors, including fishing, camping, nature walks, and exercise. He found joy in the simple things in life and appreciated the beauty of God’s creation. Whether enjoying a peaceful walk in nature or taking in a beautiful sunrise or sunset, he was always grateful for the opportunity to witness God’s glory in the world around him. He loved driving his beloved car and embraced the freedom and happiness that came with life’s everyday adventures.
Roland was also a caregiver to his parents, demonstrating his love through his willingness to be there for those who mattered most to him. He was grateful for life and the lessons it taught him. A fighter with a deep appreciation for life’s experiences, he continued to seek happiness, cherish meaningful moments, and welcome each new day with hope.
Roland will be remembered for his loving heart, his dedication to his son and family, his creativity, his hard work, and his ability to find beauty in the simplest things. His love for sunrises and sunsets will remain a beautiful reminder of his spirit and his appreciation for each new day.
