Roque Carrillo Lopez was called home to be with our Lord on July 27, 2025, at the age of 80.He was surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. Roque was born January 1, 1945, in Lockhart, Texas .He graduated from Edgewood High School in 1965. Roque met the love of his life, Gloria Zamora, while at Escobar Middle School. They married on September 21, 1965, and were happily married just shy of 60 years. Early in his life, he started his career at Piggly Wiggly before working for Anheuser-Busch (Silver Eagle). Mr. Lopez worked there for thirty years
before retiring. After retirement, his favorite pastime activities included spending time with his family and trips to Eagle Pass Casino. His happiest memories were those with Gloria by his side. Roque is deeply loved and will be missed tremendously. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benedicto and Josefina Lopez. He will be greatly missed and loved by his loving wife of 59 years, Gloria. He is survived by his son Roque Jr.,
daughters Rosalinda "Rosie" (husband George) and Herminia "Minnie" (husband Richard). His siblings also survive Roque: Benedicto, Albert, Ruben, Andrea, and Rosemary. He has numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family. He was blessed with four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In place of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity in his name.

Visitation services will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 4-8 pm. Rosary services will
be at 6 pm.
Friday, August 8, 2025, morning visitations will be 8-11 am. We will depart from Castillo Funeral
Home at 11 am.
Church services will be held at noon at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 5919 Ingram Road, San
Antonio, TX.
Burial services will be at San Fernando Cemetery #2, 746 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX.
