Rosa Maria Cisneros

Rosa Maria Cisneros, 69, passed away at her home on September 23, 2026. She was born on February 27, 1957, in Eagle Pass, Texas, and was the oldest daughter in a family of 15 siblings. Family was always an important part of Rosa’s life. As her own family grew, she took great joy in being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and she treasured the time she was able to spend with those closest to her.

Rosa had a love for singing and enjoyed bringing people together. Some of her happiest moments were spent with family, whether everyone was gathered at home, enjoying a cruise together, or traveling somewhere new. As her children and grandchildren grew older, she began traveling more and was able to experience places throughout Europe and the Caribbean with them. Those trips gave her the opportunity to see new parts of the world while sharing the experiences with the people she loved.

Rosa is survived by her son, Efrain Quiñones Jr., and his wife, Esmeralda Quiñones; her daughter, Marisabel Quiñones, and her husband, Julian Khun; her grandchildren, Rubi Quiñones and her husband, Ashraful Islam; Crystal Quiñones and her husband, Juan Medina Jr.; Jonathan Quiñones; Carlos Martinez; Alyssa Ortiz; Vincent Ortiz; and Lukas Khun; and her great-grandchildren, Camila and Simon Islam.

A memorial service for Rosa will be held on September 29, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at Castillo Funeral Home.
