Rosalie "Rosie" Cisneros was born on September 23, 1947, in San Antonio, TX and was called home to be with the Lord on June 30, 2024, at the age of 76. She is reunited in Heaven with her parents, Trinidad & Caroline Cisneros; and her brother, Refugio "Cuco" Cisneros.
Rosie had a zest for life and enjoyed various hobbies that included Horseback riding, Harley rides with her husband of 31 yrs Adolf and brothers Joe and Leonard. Spending time in her garden enjoying the sunshine was always a good day for Rosie, especially when they were in Bandera with her brother Cuco.
Music of all kinds was of great enjoyment for Rosie, from Tejano to Disco or Jazz, dancing was a passion for Rosie. Whether dancing with her daughter Pat to one of her favorite songs "We are Family" or the bump with her sister, Irene, or Cumbia's with Adolf, it all made her happy.
Rosie resided in Austin/Hutto TX area starting in 1978. She had a remarkable intellect and pursued higher education at St. Edward University and University of Texas, where she flourished in Computer Science. This led her to a 32-yr career tenure at CSI/Capital Spectrum where she served as the Manager of the Data Processing department. She contributed significantly to the development of mailing & shipping programs. She actively participated in community organizations and charities, such as Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and fought for the equality and fairness for everyone.
Rosie's greatest source of joy came from spending time with her family at Birthday parties, weddings, and anniversary celebrations. Any place where her family was together felt like home to her. Rosie is survived by her loving Husband, Adolfo Gonzalez; Daughter Patricia Ann Pantoja-Ochoa (Manuel), her stepsons Adrian Miguel Gonzalez (Jessica) and Daniel Leigh Gonzalez; grandchildren, Adrian Ochoa, Karen Ochoa and Derek Ochoa; great-grandchildren Hailey Cuevas, Daniel Ochoa, Noah Ochoa, Abraham Arajo, Shay Ochoa and Analisa Henandez; Siblings, Irene Cisneros Fuentes, Joe Cisneros (LeAnn) and Leonard Cisneros (Leslie), as well as many other loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Rosie will be remembered for her vivacious spirit, her dedication to her family and commitment to helping others. Her legacy will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her.
