Rosalinda Ozuna Bala went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at the age of 79 peacefully at home.
Rosalinda was born on June 17, 1943, in San Antonio, Texas, to the late Abel and Edna Garcia Ozuna. She was one of seven children in the Ozuna family. Richard Ozuna (wife Trini Ozuna) and Marilyn Smith (husband Bruce Smith) are the last two surviving siblings.
Rosalinda met and married Stanley Ray Bala in 1965. They had the honor of sharing 56-years in holy matrimony. She enjoyed traveling cross country with Stanley Ray in their 18-wheeler. She also enjoyed spending time working outdoors, gardening, working on puzzles and playing boardgames with family.
Rosalinda graduated in 1961 from Eagle Pass High School. She was employed as a unit clerk at the Methodist Hospital. In her free time she enjoyed visiting casinos where she would try her luck on the slot machines.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Ray Bala as well as her daughter, Katherine Elizabeth Bala. She is survived by her son, Richard Stanley Bala and her two daughters, Deborah Darlene Bala and Cynthia Michelle Bala, 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 5 great great-grandchildren, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, as well as extended family and friends.
Rosalinda showed those around her the true meaning of unconditional love, laughter, and lessons of life that will be carried on through those that knew and loved her.
