Rosalinda Barrera entered the gates to eternal rest on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at the age of 71.  She was born on February 22, 1951, in San Antonio, TX.  Rosalinda was a beloved wife to Rafael Barrera for 57 years, a mother of eight children, numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Matias and Rebecca Bernal.  She is survived by her loving husband Rafael Barrera, her daughters Nancy Espinoza, MaryAnn Contreras, Rebecca Rodriguez, and Vanessa Barrera, her sons Rafael JR Barrera, Larry Barrera, Ruben Barrera, and Albert Barrera, numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Rosalinda was very independent, strong, and always full of love.  She was very giving and would do anything for anyone in need.

She is loved and will be greatly missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and countless extended family members and great friends.  She will always be in our hearts and be our forever rose.
